Mideast peace contingent on global recognition that Israel is: A democratic Jewish state; and is here to stay!

Until Islamic, especially Islamic-Arab states, as well as the rest of the global community, are willing to formally accept Israel as sovereign, viable, and independent Jewish democracy, and as a vital member of the global community, there will not be peace in the Middle East.
George Mitchell resigned because he realized that additional work on peace in the Middle East is futile unless there is acceptance of Israel as a sovereign [Jewish] country that will NOT go away. Until Hamas, el Fatah, Hezbollah, and their sponsors, such as Syria and Iran, are willing to change their charters and to formally accept Israel as a viable Jewish state, a state that is there to stay, there will not be peace in the Middle East, notwithstanding all work and good will by the Obama Administration.
