Obama Netanyahu chasm; the Zyonist view:

To a man like Obama who spent his formative years among Muslims, and then accepted Christianity as his personal religion, understanding Jewish truths is near impossible.
Jews remember Jerusalem in all their High Holidays: Should I forget you Jerusalem…A condition that would cause a Jew to lose his right [hand], or in simple terms, [lose] his most important asset. A pragmatic demonstration can be found in recent history. While the Israel War of Independence was raging on, and the Israelis were suffering on all fronts, David Ben Gurion, Israel’s Prime Minister, committed an extremely large number of assets, disproportionate in size to any other in the country, in order to defend Jerusalem.
By his action, David Ben Gurion agreed to, and actually did, suffer enormous number of casualties defending Jerusalem. Ben Gurion did so because, as he said: Jerusalem is, always was, and always will be, the Capital of the Jewish people, the Capital of Israel!
There is no such thing as East Jerusalem, there is only one Jerusalem…As Beyamin Netanyahu recently said: Jerusalem is not a settlement, it is one city, it is the Capital of Israel.
Unless President Obama with his Islamic instincts and sympathies, learns to understand the Jewish heart, especially the Jewish feelings about Jerusalem, Barak Hussein Obama will never be able to communicate with representatives of Israel, of Judaism, or of Zyonism, in a meaningful manner.
Unless President Obama learns to appreciate those items, such as Jerusalem, that are undisputably dear to the Jewish people, the chasm between Obama and Netanyahu will continue to grow, the chasm between the United States and Israel will not narrow, and the future of the whole Middle East will remain precarious, with the Israeli/Palestinian problem unresolved.
