Realigning the Mideast (Middle East realignment): Resurrecting the UAR, but as UIR (United Islamic Republic[s]); without a sovereign Palestine!

Several years ago, Mideastern Arab states attempted to form a Union that would have yield them international power and influence, more than any of the individual countries could have acquired on their own. The attempt to have a United Arab Republic (UAR,) was a miserable failure, not suggesting that a new attempt may not be a resounding success.

Presently, with the events in Tunisia, and in Egypt, situations that will very likely be duplicated in  Arab “Monarchies,” and autocratic countries, are begging for a new Islamic unity..

Some likely scenarios that may already be in process include, but are not limited to:

Jordan, the “Monarchy,” one that the British created without legal authority, has more Palestinians within its territory than it has “Jordanians;” it is very unlikely that Jordan will remain the sovereign country that it is now,  for very long.  It is likely that Jordan will become an Islamic Republic with Palestinians voted into power. An Islamic Republic of Jordan will likely include the West Bank (with modified borders to satisfy Israel’s security needs,)  but without Gaza which will likely be annexed to the new Islamic Republic of Egypt, a country with Hamas, and The Islamic Brotherhood (and therefore Iran,) having significant power.

There is little, or no doubt, that Iran will attempt to start the process of following Quranic edicts to all Muslims that they must strive for world domination. With Hamas and the Islamic Brotherhood having a strong foothold in Egypt, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Palestinians in Jordan, the foundation of a United Islamic Mideast Republic, with Iran its leader, is in place.

One can expect that a “Jewish Israel,” will likely become an island of civility in the midst of a Mideast Islamic Republics, that will likely include:

Iran (the “lead”)

The “new” Islamic Republic of Egypt

A “new” (Hezbollah lead,) Islamic Republic of Lebanon

The “new” (Palestinians lead,) Islamic REpublic of Jordan

Syria

Tunisia

Libia

And, as time goes on, many more Islamic nations are likely to join the fray.  For example, others of the British founded “Monarchies,” are, of course, not likely to service since they have no true international legitimacy. Also, it is likely that eventually and in good time, those Islamic nations in the Far East, will join at leat a loose confederation of world Islamic Republics.
